The warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-

instructions. Any claim to warranty will lapse in such cases!
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. The FS20 wireless switching
system does only emit relatively weak radio signals. These radio signals could, however,
lead to malfunctions in life-supporting systems.
The same may be the case in other areas.
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible because of
safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The design of the product complies with safety class II. The device may only be operated on
the public mains supply system (230 V~/50 Hz).
• The device is not a toy. Devices operated using the mains voltage must be kept out of the
reach of children. Particular care must therefore be exercised if children are around.
• Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly, as such materials can become
dangerous toys in the hands of children.
• To connect the device to the power supply as well as to the load/s, work has to be carried
out on the voltage supply and/or voltage-carrying parts in operation.
Before removing the covering or opening the housing, disconnect all poles from the
power supply. Also disconnect any loads used or intended for use.
While working on the device, make sure no-one turns on the power supply. You can use
mechanical interlocks or put up eye-catching warning signs.
The same applies when replacing the fuse or setting the jumper of the wireless dimmer.
• Before reconnecting the power supply, close the housing and reattach the covering of the
wireless dimmer. The wireless dimmer may only be used with closed housing.
• Only people with appropriate training are entitled to carry out work on voltage-carrying parts
(e.g. electricians). If you have not had such training, consult a qualified electrician for such
work.
