When raising/locking the side rails in the high position or lowering/locking in the low position, make
sure that no parts of the patient's body become trapped. This instruction applies particularly to the
space at the head of the bed.
Check that all of the screw connections are tight !
If the side rail is in the high position, check once again that it is firmly locked in position.

Switching on the motors

Your care bed is fitted with an OKIN system.
Use Figure 10 to connect the actuators. The connectors are located at the main actuator. This one is
mounted at the head end of the bed base.
The housing has 5 sockets marked with different symbols. Take care that the motors are connected
correctly. However, there is no danger if the motors are not plugged in correctly, but they cannot be function
properly.
Figure 10 shows the connections of the main
actuator.
The bed is delivered with connected hand control. If
the hand control cable is not connected, please
assemble it as shown in figure 10.
All plugs must be fitted with a round
impermeable sealing ring, also known
as a O-ring. If this sealing is missing,
there will be inadequate protection against
humidity.
Check that each plug is inserted firmly that each of
these O-ring slides into the cover of the
corresponding socket, thus ensuring correct plug
connection.
IMPORTANT: A wrong connection can cause serious damage. Please pay attention to the correct position of
each plug as pictured below.

Only use the below mentioned combinations of hand control and main drive. Wrong
connections may cause irreparable damage to the components:
