sealing rings present and intact. All sockets have to be closed with the matching plug or a covering
cap.
Never use a high-pressure cleaner to clean this bed.
Do not splash the bed with water.
Although the electrical elements are protected against splashing, clean them only with a damp cloth and if
necessary with a mild non-abrasive detergent.
Before using the bed again all parts have to be perfectly dry again.
You can clean the metal parts of the bed by hand with water and some soap (for example mild detergent or
car shampoo)
The wooden parts wipe with a damp cloth and wipe them dry immediately. Use suitable wood care-detergent
for maintenance.
Before re-using the bed, spray the bed moderate with a mild commercial disinfectant. For plastic and
wooden parts do not use high percentage alcohols, ether, ketenes, ester, high concentrated acids and
aromatic or chlorinated hydrocarbons.
The wooden parts have to be treated with a disinfectant with a fast effect. Sprinkle the wood and wipe it dry
immediately.
After cleaning and disinfections take care of the wooden parts with a special wood preservative.

10 Warranty

The warranty only concerns manufacturing defects or materials. It applies to the following items :
Bed frame
Electrical components 2 years (not including backup battery)
The warranty takes effect on the day on which the bed is purchased. If a component proves to be defective
during the afore-mentioned period of validity, Thuasne shall undertake to replace or repair the said
component unless the defect is due to incorrect handling.
Products that have been used incorrectly, neglected, poorly serviced or stored under inadequate conditions
are not covered by the warranty. Although not covered is damage following to overload or violence.
Your bed has been supplied with adhesive stickers specifying the following serial numbers :
Type plate (head part of the bed base and head part)
serial numbers on the back rest (head- and leg-raising devices)
and a serial number on each actuator
The lifting pole has its own type plate.
Please quote these serial numbers in the event of a complaint.

11 Disposal of the various components at the end of the bed's useful life

Your Multicomfort II G2 bed consists of a welded, painted steel frame and electrical actuators. Thuasne
urges you to comply with the waste disposal legislation currently in force in your country when your bed
reaches the end of its useful life.
Do not dispose electrical components through the house garbage. Send them back to us. We dispose them
properly.

12 What to do if the bed breaks down

You must always start by checking whether :
• the plug is inserted and there is tension in the network
• all the components are correctly connected to each other ;
