a) Basis station
Select an installation site that is not in the vicinity of heat sources like
radiators, ovens, etc. Avoid direct sunlight. Avoid places with strong
drafts (close to doors or windows). The above factors would have a
negative impact on temperature and air humidity measuring. Excess
temperature may also damage the device!
The base station can be mounted on a wall or installed on a level surface.
Wall Mounting
For wall mounting, suspend the base station from a screw through the
corresponding opening on the rear. The screw must have a distance of
approx. 3mm between the underside of the screw head and the wall so
that the base station can be suspended correctly on the screw.
Set-up:
There are two small fold-out feet on the rear of the base station for placing it on a
table or similar.
A fold-out clamp on the rear also lets you set up the base station at a steeper angle.
Use a suitable pad when placing the base station on sensitive/
valuable furniture surfaces to prevent scratching or dents.
b) Outdoor sensors
The outdoor sensors are attached to the supplied sensor posts. For this purpose, the
delivery includes two identical sensor mounts (mount for the rain sensor and mount
for the temperature/air humidity sensor).
Attaching the wind sensor:
Put the wind sensor on the sensor post. The sensor post has a small recess on the top.
This must snap into the attachment clip of the wind sensor. Attach the wind sensor
with a small metal screw and the threaded screw with the nut (enclosed) to the tip of
the sensor post.
