For this purpose, remove the rain cover from the sensor. Open the battery compart-
ment on the back of the temperature/air humidity sensor. Remove the batteries from
the temperature/air humidity sensor, wait approx. 10 seconds and replace the batter-
ies observing the correct polarity. The correct polarity (plus and minus) is shown by
the inscription on the battery compartment. Close the battery compartment again
and replace the battery compartment cover. Replace the rain cover.
You must insert the batteries in the base station and the temperature/air
humidity sensor in the right sequence (first in the base station, then in
the temperature/air humidity sensor) and at brief intervals. Otherwise it
will not be possible to establish a correct connection between the base
station and the temperature/air humidity sensor.
Do not press any button during the first 10 minutes after inserting the
batteries into the base station. The base station is in the teaching phase
during this time (synchronisation to the outdoor sensors). A push of a
button would interrupt the teaching phase.
Changing the batteries of the temperature/air humidity sensor
If you only need to replace the batteries in the temperature/air humidity sensor, it is
not necessary to reinsert the batteries in the base station beforehand (otherwise
saved data is lost).
Simply replace the batteries on the temperature/air humidity sensor and the base
station tries to synchronise with it within 3 hours.
Replacing the batteries
Remove the rain cover from the sensor. Open the battery compartment on the back of
the temperature/air humidity sensor. Remove the spent batteries. Insert two new 1.5
AA alkaline batteries; pay attention to the correct polarity. The correct polarity (plus
and minus) is shown by the inscription on the battery compartment. Close the battery
compartment again and replace the battery compartment cover. Replace the rain
cover.
