• By pressing +/
- or MIN/MAX, you select between the temperature display in °C
(°Celsius) or °F (°Fahrenheit).
• Briefly press SET to switch to the next setup item.
f) Setting the air pressure unit
Once you have selected the unit for the temperature display or skipped this setting,
you can set the unit for the air pressure display.
• By pressing +/
- or MIN/MAX, you select between the display of the air pressure
in hPa (Hektopascal) or inHg (Inch mercury column).
• Briefly press SET to switch to the next setup item.
g) Setting the relative air pressure
Once you have selected the unit for the air pressure display or skipped this setting,
you can set the reference value for the relative air pressure. The relative air pressure
states the air pressure with reference to the height above sea level. The air pressure
default value should be matched with the relative air pressure in your area so that the
weather station can display the relative air pressure as accurately as possible. To
obtain the current relative air pressure value in your area, contact your weather office
or consult the Internet, your local media or similar. Set this air pressure value on the
weather station.
• By pressing +/
- or MIN/MAX, you can set the relative air pressure from 919hPa
– 1080hPa (default 1013.3hPa).
• Briefly press SET to switch to the next setup item.
h) Setting the air pressure threshold value
Once you have set the value for the relative air pressure or skipped this setting, you
can set the threshold value for the air pressure. This way, you tell the device as of
which value it is supposed to consider a change in the air pressure for the weather
forecast.
• By pressing +/
- or MIN/MAX, you can set the air pressure threshold value from
2hPa – 4hPa (default 2hPa).
• Briefly press SET to switch to the next setup item.
i) Setting the storm warning threshold value
Once you have set the relative air pressure threshold value or skipped this setting,
you can set the threshold value for the storm warning. This value tells the device as
of which air pressure change it is supposed to issue a storm warning.
