Notes for burglar resistant doors RC2 or RC3 (also types E-S-1 / E-S-2):
– Installation in solid walls approved only with mortar backfill. For further information see page 20.
– Installation in stud partition walls: RC2 and RC3 doors may only be installed in so-called burglar proof stud partition walls with
additional sheet steel inserts. Approved backfilling: fill the frame until it no longer yields using plasterboard strips including visible
screwing in the frame face!
