► Place the front wheel in the transport position.
► Set the blade spur to the highest level.
► Turn the gearbox oil cap anti-clockwise until it can be
removed.
► Remove the gearbox oil cap.
► Add gearbox oil.
► Place the gearbox oil cap on the filler neck.
► Turn the gearbox oil cap clockwise and hand tighten.
The filler neck is sealed.

16.3 Checking the Gearbox Oil Level

► Stop the engine.
► Place the tiller on a level surface.
► Place the front wheel in the transport position.
► Set the blade spur to the highest level.

► Turn the gearbox oil cap anti-clockwise until it can be
removed.
► Remove the gearbox oil cap.
► If there is no gearbox oil visible at filler neck (1):
► lubricate the gearbox.
► If there is gearbox oil visible at filler neck (1):
► there is enough gearbox oil in the gearbox.
► Place the gearbox oil cap on the filler neck.
► Turn the gearbox oil cap clockwise and hand tighten.
The filler neck is sealed.

16.4 Changing the Gearbox Oil

► Stop the engine.
► Place the tiller on a level surface.
► Place the front wheel in the transport position.
► Set the blade spur to the highest level.
► Unscrew screw plug (1).
► Drain the gearbox oil into a suitable container.
► Screw in screw plug (1) and tighten.
► Add gearbox oil.

17.1 Repairing the Cultivator and Blades

The cultivator and blades cannot be repaired by the user.
