9. Care and Maintenance
Before Using
Caution!
Regularly check (more frequently when
used more often) that all screw con-
nections and protective caps are fi rmly
fi tted and check the tricycle for visible
damage.
The correct tightening torque for the screw
connections at the handlebar, under the seat
and at the two connections between rear axle
and frame is 5 to 8 Nm (see General Assem-
bly Requirements, page 18). If in doubt consult
your specialist dealer.
Immediately replace damaged or defective
parts by genuine PUKY spare parts to main-
tain the high safety level.
We advise that you obtain genuine spare parts
from your PUKY specialist dealer.
Wearing parts: tyres, brakes/brake caps, seat
cover and padding.

Care
Protect the tricycle from contact with de-icing
salt! If contact is unavoidable, thoroughly clean
the tricycle as soon as possible.
Caution!
Never use a high pressure or steam jet
cleaner to clean the tricycle.
Use environmentally friendly cleaning prod-
ucts, on no account use aggressive or caustic
cleaning agents.
Only use a moist sponge to clean the seat and
belt padding or wash them by hand at maxi-
mum 30 °C using a gentle detergent.
After cleaning, allow the seat and belt padding
to completely dry in air.
Caution!
Do not dry the seat and belt padding in
a tumble drier. The heat can damage
the fabric.
