– Pull the two parts with the red locking up
and out and place all three parts of the
seat belt on the outside so that they cannot
become trapped while mounting the seat
(Fig. 12).
– Look from above through the holes in the
seat in order to fi nd the correct position for
the screw connection. Move the seat a little
to establish the position where the holes in
the seat are exactly in line with the nuts in
the seat mount (Fig. 12, A).
– Place the prepared seat moulding with pad-
ding in the seat and press down fi rmly to
ensure it is in the correct position.
– Firmly hold the seat moulding with padding
and the seat with one hand and fi t the fi rst
screw through the slot in the padding into
the nut on the seat mount (Fig. 13, A).
– Tighten the screw with the Allan key (5 to
8 Nm). Exert a little pressure on the screw
in order to feel the screw engaging in the
thread.
– Now fi t the second screw and tighten it
(5 to 8 Nm).
– Arrange the three parts of the seat belt,
making sure that the belts are not twisted,
and fasten the seat belt (Fig. 14).

Mounting Backrest
– Hold the backrest upright and insert one
of the two hinge pins in the opening on the
corresponding side of the seat (Fig. 15, A).
– Working from the front, fi rmly push the oth-
er side of the backrest against the seat until
the other hinge pin snaps into the open-
ing in the seat and the backrest moves
smoothly forward and back.
Securing Seat Belt
– Place the backrest in an upright position.
– Remove the two clips from the loops at the
ends of the belt.
– Make sure that the loops of the padding lie
under the belts and, working from the front,
pass the belts and padding loops one after
the other through the two upper or lower
slots in the backrest padding, depending
on the size of the child (Fig. 16, A).
– Then pass the belts and padding loops
one after the other through the slots on the
same level in the backrest (Fig. 17).
– Pull the belts and padding loops right
through the slots.
