9.3 Installing the Scale

1. Remove the hanger bar. Refer to 9.2 Removing the Swivel Bar,
page 49.
2. Position the load cell assembly A of the scale into the boom
mounting bracket B.
3. Secure the scale to the boom mounting bracket with the clevis
pin C, two spacers D and the clip E.
Secure the hanger bar F to the scale with the shoulder bolt
4.
G and locknut H.
5. Weigh the patient. Refer to 9.5 Weighing the Patient, page 52.
