4.4 Assembling the Electric Actuator to the
Boom
CAUTION!
Risk of Damage
– DO NOT overtighten the mounting hardware. This
will damage the mounting bracket.
1.
Remove the quick release pin A from the mast mounting bracket
B (Detail A).
Lift the hook C securing the hanger bar D to the mast.

Remove the caps E, bolt F, washers G, bushing H and nut I

from the boom mounting bracket J (Detail B).
The bottom of the electric actuator assembly K will
already be assembled to the mast mounting bracket
(Detail C).
4.
Lift-up on the boom and place it on your left shoulder.

Let the actuator rest on your right-side of your chest and rotate
the shaft extension L of the actuator assembly until it lines-up
with the mounting holes in the boom assembly.
6.
Align the holes of the boom assembly mounting bracket with
those of the actuator
Be sure that the bolt is completely through the holes of
the boom mounting bracket and the actuator assembly.
The boom assembly will pivot easily if the mounting
hardware is aligned properly when the boom is secured
to the mast.
7.
Install the bolt, washers, nut, bushing and caps.
8.
Plug in the electrical connectors (not shown) from the electric
actuator to the bottom of the battery assembly.
9.
Plug the pendant control into the bottom of the battery assembly
M. Be sure the pendant control plug is fully inserted.
