Adapting, fitting the upper section
Check the remaining difference in height between the
upper edge of the floor and the drain body or pump con-
nector again. Take the height of any planned floor cover-
ing into account.
When screed is laid, care must be taken to slope the
screed in the direction of the drain.
Shorten the upper section so that the difference in height
determined + minimum overlap (47 mm) is guaranteed.
If necessary, plan space for fitting an odour trap or odour
stop (see accessories) in the cover plate.
To check this, mark the minimum overlap on the upper
section after shortening and then fit the upper section in
place.
The mark should be at the same height as the upper edge
of the tank.
The contour line on the upper section shows maximum
shortening. If maximum shortening is exceeded or mini-
mum overlap is not observed, the tightness of the tank is
not guaranteed.
Fit the upper section (take the contact points into account)
and align. An angle of inclination of up to 5° is permissi-
ble.
