Maintenance and cleaning

7.1

Cleaning the device

Only clean the device when it is switched off. Use only a cleaning agent which you are sure will not
damage the mechanical and electrical equipment.
For the cabinet body, we recommend a stainless steel cleaner. For any parts conveying media, use
water or soap. Thorough, regular cleaning of the parts conveying media is essential for reliable
operation.
Note!
You can mount and disassemble all the parts which convey media easily and without tools.

Cleaning the hose pump
Warning!
• If you open the hose pump while the sampler is in operation, your fingers are at risk of being
crushed!
• For this reason, make sure that the sampler has been taken out of service (activate "Off" switch)
before you open the hose pump. Once the LC display goes out, the sampler is out of service.
• Secure the sampler against unintentional start-up whilst you carry out work on the open hose
pump.
Caution!
Please remove the pump hose if taking the device out of service for an extended period (> 2
months)!
Replacing the pump hose
During operation, the pump hose is subject to natural wear and tear. For this reason, check the
pump hose for leaks at regular intervals. If the pump hose is leaking, replace it as per the separate
installation instructions. The installation instructions are provided in the same packaging as the
pump hose.
