Hydraulic connection
• Maximum suction height: standard 6 m; optional: 8 m
• Maximum hose length: 30 m
• Hose connection diameter: 10 mm internal diameter
• Suction velocity:>0.5 m/s, acc. to EN 25667
Caution!
• Always lay the sampling hose in such a way that it rises from the sampling point to the sampler.
• The sampler must be above the sampling point.
• Avoid siphon formation in the sampling hose.
Sampling point
Requirements of the sampling point:
Caution!
• Do not connect the sampling hose to pressurised systems.
• Use the suction filter to impede coarse and abrasive solids and solids which can cause clogging.
• Immerse the suction hose in the direction of flow.
• Take the samples at a representative point (turbulent flow; not directly at the bottom of the
channel).
• The medium must be conveyed free of bubbles in the suction hose
Water connections
Mount the device according to the mounting conditions Chap. 3.3.

Lay the sampling hose from the sampling point to the device.
