Switching based on a parameter of the multi-parameter probe
Fig. 47:
Example: switching based on a parameter of the multi-parameter probe
In this setting, the switch to the switching programme takes place by means of a measured value of
the multi-parameter probe. The user can use up to 12 probe parameters simultaneously for
switching to the switching programme.
Up to 12 individual menus ("Switch sonde 1" to "Switch sonde 12") are available for this purpose.
Caution!
The connection to the multi-parameter probe must have been established beforehand.
In this switching criterion, both an upper and a lower limit value can be defined for the switch. This
makes it possible to define a range in which the main programme is active. If you leave the
configured range, the switching programme is activated immediately. If only an upper or a lower
limit value should be monitored, the other limit value is deactivated.
The limit values are assigned to an adjustable hysteresis. In other words, the measured flow has to
return to the specific range by the amount of the hysteresis before the system switches back to the
main programme.
For example, in the settings in Fig. 47, the system switches to the switching programme at a
measured temperature of 50 °C. However, the system switches back to the main programme at a
measured temperature of 45 °C. The lower limit value is deactivated in the example.
(See also the description for switching based on a measured flow.)
Event programme
The event programme is activated by a digital input.
Note!
Assign one of the digital inputs and configure this input with the EVENT function. For the event
programme, a separate sampling programme and a separate bottle can be defined.
