feature ma: 4-20 ma current output
The 4-20 mA output provides an electric signal whose value expresses
the pressure measured by the transmitter.
The «mA» feature within the Calibration mode makes it possible to make
the correspondence between the measuring range and the output cur-
rent.
The figure below shows an example of relationship between the measu-
ring range (for pressure ranges 0-10 bar, 0-20 bar and 0-50 bar) and the
4-20 mA output:
-1
- The current signal can be inverted, i.e the pressure value associated to
the 20 mA can be lower to that associated to the 4 mA.
- The value of the output current is of 22 mA when the transmitter dis-
plays an error message and, if feature «CAL FAIL mA» = 22 mA, when
the measuring range is exceeded.
