Using the induction hob

EN 10
• Clean the hob with a damp cloth, and then dry the surface
thoroughly.
• Do not use detergent which risks causing blue-tinted colour on the
glass surface.
• When the hob is first switched on the displays of all the cooking
zones light up briefly.
• If one or more knobs is not in "0" position when the hob is first
switched on, the cooking zone will not work.
• On turning the knob, the relative display will show the adjacent
symbol, signalling the cooking zone failed to work. The element will
only work properly again once the knob is returned to "0" position
and a new power value is set.
Pans for induction cooking
Induction cooking requires a particular quality of pan.
Please note
• Pans that have already been used for cooking on a gas hob are no
longer suitable for use on an induction hob.
• Only use pans that are suitable for electric and induction cooking
with:
▷ a thick base of a minimum 2.25 mm;
▷ a flat base.
• The best pans are those with the 'Class Induction' quality mark.
Tip
You can use a magnet to check whether your pans are suitable.
A pan is suitable if the base of the pan is attracted by the magnet.
