Commissioning of teach procedure

Always perform a Teach procedure when
– An ADNE is operated on the respective CMFL controller for the first time
– The supply voltage is changed
– The system parameters are changed (different load, different actual stroke,
different mounting position, different power supply unit, ...)
– The positioning motion is defective (e.g. permanent position error, hard
bounce against the stop)
– The LED flashes red five times.
Note
In case of subsequent changes (e.g. revised mounting position or load), the
system characteristics will also change.
• Make sure the entire system corresponds to the final set-up.
New teaching is necessary with every change in the entire system.
• Make sure that the temperature of the ADNE-LAS with the Teach procedure is
greater than 15 °C and less than 50 °C.
1. Set the following signals to the inputs of the CMFL:

2. Apply current to the power supply connections on the CMFL. The signals in
Fig. 12 must be on for at least 5 s after switch-on.
The LED slowly flashes green-orange and the /ERROR signal goes to high (1).
The CMFL waits for the enable by the higher-order controller (PLC).
Note
External influences during the Teach procedure (e.g. touching the piston rod)
can negatively influence the teaching procedure.
• Make sure that the piston rod can move unhindered during the Teach
procedure.
3. Set the ENABLE signal to high (1) (grant enable).
The LED quickly flashes green-orange. The Teach procedure is started. During
