Function and application

The CMFL end-position controller with I/O interface permits positioning of an
ADNE-LAS short-stroke cylinder in 4 preset positioning profiles.
Coupling of the CMFL to a higher-order PLC/IPC takes place via digital
inputs/outputs. Festo offers suitable lines for the end-position controller
(
catalogue specifications, www.festo.com/catalogue).
The CMFL end-position controller is intended for use in activating an electric
short-stroke cylinder with integrated ADNE-LAS linear motor.
Note
The ADNE-LAS short-stroke cylinder is unbraked: When the Enable input signal
is not applied or if voltage failure occurs, the piston rod can be moved freely.
