SETTING UP YOUR MACHINE
1. Wipe off excess oil in the needle plate and bed areas.
2. FOOT CONTROL
Push foot control plug into connector socket, and connect
the power line plug into power supply outlet.
3. POWER/ LIGHT SWITCH
Your machine will not operate unless the power / light
switch is turned on. This same switch controls both
machine power and sewing light.
When leaving the machine unattended, or servicing the
machine, remove the power line plug from supply outlet.
4. OPENING FRONT COVER
To open front cover, pull it to the right and down towards
you.
POLARIZED PLUGS CAUTION (USA only)
This product is equipped with a polarized alternating
current line plug (a plug having one blade wider than the
other). This plug will fit into the power outlet only one way.
This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the
plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug
should still fall to fit, contact an electrician to replace the
obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the
polarized plug.
Use Yamamoto Electric, Model YC-482E with this sewing
machine model 099.
5. OPENING WORKING TABLE
To open working table, pull the release lever towards you
with your right hand, and open.

BRANCHEMENT DE LA MACHINE
1. Nettoyer l'excès d'huile sur la plaque-aiguille et ses
alentours.
2. RHEOSTAT
Plaçer la fiche du rhéostat dans la prise extérieure de la
machine, relier la prise électrique à votre prise murale.
3. INTERRUPTEUR LUMIERE ET MACHINE
Votre machine ne fonctionne que lorsque l'interrupteur
de lumière est en position de marche. Il commande la
lumière et le contact électrique général de la machine.
Lorsque vous n'utilisez pas la machine ou lors du
nettoyage, veillez à la débrancher de la prise de courant.
4. OUVERTURE DU CAPOT INFERIEUR FRONTAL
Pour ouvrir le capot frontal, le tirer vers la droite puis
l'abaisser vers vous.
5. OUVERTURE DU CAPOT LATERAL
(TABLE DE TRAVAIL)
Pour ouvrir la table de travail, à l'aide de votre main droite
tirez le levier de dégagement vers vous et ouvrez.
