CORRECT PIPETTING with the ErgoOne
The volume is set at the factory to the nominal volume for the ErgoOne
changed quickly and easily. See page 8.

Use the correct tip according to the volume range or the color code. En-
sure that the tip is securely seated. When using the flexible pipette shaft,
attach an alternative ejector adjustment clip if necessary.
Pipette tips are disposables items!
Hold the pipette vertically and immerse the tip
2 to 3 mm into the liquid.
Press the pipetting key
once to aspirate the liquid
into the tip. The arrow in
the display points upwards
to indicate the aspiration
of liquid.
NOTE:
To avoid the intake of air, leave the tip immersed
into the liquid for approx. 1 sec.
After the liquid has been aspirated, the arrow in the
display points downwards to indicate discharging.
Hold the pipette at an angle between 30º and 45º,
place the tip against the vessel wall.
Press the pipetting key
again and the liquid is com-
pletely discharged includ-
ing automatic blow-out.
Wipe pipette tip against the
vessel wall.
Hold the pipette shaft over
a suitable disposal con-
tainer and the press the tip
ejection key.
NOTE:
ISO 8655 prescribes rinsing the pipette tip once with the sample liquid
prior to the actual pipetting process.
