6.1 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTION TO CONTROL UNIT
01. Remove the gearmotor's side panel: undo the screw and lift the pan-
el up (fig. 20);
02. Depending on the position (right or left) of the gearmotor, set the
jumper to determine the opening direction (Open), see fig. 21;
03. Remove the rubber membrane over the cable routing hole. Insert the
cables required to hookup the equpment (fig. 22). Leave the cables
at least 40-50 cm long.
04. Break off enough of the rubber membrane's inner grille to insert the
cables. Now restore the membrane to its seat (fig. 23).
05. Make the electrical connection for the KS100 keyswitch (optional
accessory), where present. See fig. 24.
Note: • The terminals have the same colours as the terminals on
the respective devices; for example, the grey terminal (OPEN) on the
KS100 keyswitch must be hooked up to the grey terminal (OPEN)
on the control unit; • The majority of connections have no particular
polarity; however, if an external antenna is used, its shielded cable
must be hooked up (braid and core) as shown in fig. 25.
