8.6 Brushes
The brushes (Fig. 12 - item 58 + item 59) must be changed once they have worn down and exhibit only inadequate cleaning performance on the
animals.
8.6.1 Changing the brushes
1. Unfasten the M10 screw (Fig. 12 - item 51) on the brush and remove the clamping plate (Fig. 12 - item 30)
2. Remove the brush blocks, cover discs and rubber discs (Fig. 12) and replace with new brushes
3. Assemble the parts in reverse order. Secure the M10 screw (Fig. 12 - item 51) with threadlocker.
8.6.2 Brush cleaning
We recommend cleaning the brush element at 6-weekly intervals with a suitable disinfectant
(e.g. #299698 INTERKOKASK
8.7 Entire unit
The entire unit must be cleaned on a regular basis.
Important!
• The gears, motor and electrical components must not be cleaned with water jets.
• Only clean the control unit with a damp sponge / cloth!
8.8 Disposal
Please observe local waste disposal regulations! Separate all of the unit's parts, auxiliary materials and operating materials according to type.
Consult your local authority if you have any questions concerning disposal options and quantities.
