Commissioning
We recommend using water when commissioning in order to check all external
NOTE
connections for leaks, and to adjust the air supply and the suction time.
After installation has been completed in accordance with chapter 5, the equipment can be
commissioned.
Carry out commissioning as follows (with water):
1. Ensure power supply and compressed air supply (see chapter 5.1).
2. Connect the (full) container with the Click & Plug coupling
(or submerge the hose end(s) in a open container of water).
3. Switch on the main switch to start the filling process.
ON LED lights up green / LL1 LED (container 1) lights up green.
The air supply solenoid to the injector opens.
The lifting vessel is filled for 10 seconds (see chapters
If the level switch in the lifting vessel has already been reached, step 4 can be omitted.
The Connexx control unit sends an enable signal to the connected pumps.
In rare cases the mechanical float in the overfill preventer may stick at the top as a result of
NOTE
transport, and despite air flowing through the injector, no product will be sucked out of the
lifting vessel. If this happens, please proceed as described in the chapter 4.3.
4. Connexx Basic:
Empty signal LL1 after expiry of timer period
LL1 LED flashes red / QUIT LED lights up red / buzzer sounds
Switch off the buzzer with the Quit button and acknowledge the empty signal LL1
Filling continues as per step 3.
If the empty signal is repeated, repeat until the level switch is reached.
The Connexx control unit then sends the connected pumps an enable signal
Connexx Switch:
Empty signal LL1 and automatic switchover to container 2 after expiry of the timer
period
LL1 LED flashes red / LL* LED lights up green
Empty signal LL2 and alarm signal after expiry of the timer period
LL1 LED and LL2 LED flash red / QUIT LED lights up red / buzzer sounds
Switch off the buzzer with the Quit button and acknowledge the alarm signals LL1
and then LL2
Filling process is continued as per Step 3
If the empty signal is repeated, repeat until the level switch is reached.
The Connexx control unit sends an enable signal to the connected pumps.
If the level switch in the lifting vessel still cannot be reached after 3 filling procedures,
check the following parameters:
