s OPENING AND CLOSING THE LID INSERT
• You can lift off the entire lid for filling water or just remove the small, grey lid
insert. For inserting resp. withdrawing the tea strainer, just the lid insert has to
be taken off resp. reinstalled.

• Turn the lid insert so that the white arrow on
the lid insert lines up with the lock-symbol by
"OPEN" on the lid ring: You can remove the
lid insert.

• Turn the lid insert so that the white arrow on
the lid insert lines up with the lock-symbol
by "CLOSE" on the lid ring: The lid insert is
locked.

• When the tea strainer is mounted into the jug,
you can lock the lid insert as described above.

To do that, the handle of the tea strainer has to
be placed in the notch on the lid ring.
