Overcasting with Zigzag Stitch
Machine settings

e Thread tension:
Place the raw edge of the fabric next to the guide of
the foot and start sewing.
q Guide
CAUTION:
Do not set the stitch width less than 5 when using the
overedge foot to prevent the needle from hitting the
wires on the foot.

Multiple Zigzag Stitch (Tricot Stitch)

Machine settings
q Pattern:
w Presser foot:
e Thread tension:
This stitch is used to finish a raw edge of synthetics
and other stretch fabrics that tend to pucker.
Sew along the fabric edge leaving an adequate seam
allowance.
After sewing, trim the seam allowance close to the
stitches, without cutting the sewn stitches.

Overedge Stitch

Machine settings
q Pattern:
w Presser foot:
e Thread tension:
This stitch overcasts and seams the raw edge at the
same time, it prevents fraying.
Sew while guiding the fabric edge along the guide on
the foot.
q Guide
CAUTION:
Do not set the stitch width less than 5 when using the
