Nordic Walking Technique

In Nordic walking, walking is connected with Nor-
dic cross-country skiing (hence Nordic). Movement
is supported by pushing the Nordic walking poles
against the ground. Chest, shoulder and arm mus-
cles are thereby intensively trained. Nordic walking
is simple and easy to learn (Fig. H).

Storage, Cleaning

Store the item in a temperate, dry place. Use luke-
warm water or a cloth moistened with soapy water
to clean the Nordic walking poles. Never clean
the Nordic walking poles with solvents or harsh
cleaning agents. These can corrode the sealants
and markings and damage them over time.
