Adjusting the friction
You can adjust the ease with which the arm
in the fastening element can be rotated
(= friction).
X Screw the setscrew B into the fasten-
ing element until reaching the desired
friction, see Fig. 3.

CAUTION
Risk of injury caused by a falling or
tilting luminaire.
Personal injury and material damage.
X Hold the luminaire head when
unscrewing the pivot screws.
X After positioning the column,
tighten the pivot screws.
NOTICE
Material damage caused by wrong
handling.
Damage to the luminaire.
X Do not move the pivots opposite
to the intended direction of rota-
tion.
X Place the luminaire in the desired posi-
tion.

X Tighten each pivot screw until the lumi-
naire is fixed in the desired position,
see Fig. 4

Connecting the luminaire to
the mains voltage (mains ver-
sion)
WARNING
Electric shock caused by ingress of
moisture. Plug and external power
supply unit have a lower degree of
protection than the luminaire.
Personal injury and damage to the lumi-
naire.
X Plug in plug away from a moist
environment.
X Version D: Place the power supply
unit outside humid environment.
NOTICE
Material damage caused by wrong
mains voltage.
Damage or destruction of the luminaire.
X Compare the mains voltage with the
nominal voltage and the frequency
specified on the rating plate and
make sure that they are identical.
X Version D: Plug the mini-DIN plug of the
luminaire into the socket of the power
supply unit.
X Version D: Connect the mains cable to
the power supply unit.
X Plug the mains plug into a socket.
