X Luminaires suitable for EPA must
remain plugged in in electrostati-
cally protected areas (EPA).
X Connect the luminaire to an
inspected electric mains that
meets the legal requirements
using the delivered plug-in power
supply only.
X Leave the grounding cable plugged
in in EPA areas.
4.1 Connection of the grounding
cable
NOTES:
This chapter applies only to luminaires

suitable for EPA.
Suitable grounding cables can be
ƒ
found in the Waldmann range of
accessories.
X Connect a suitable grounding cable to
the mounting of the luminaire using an
M5 set screw.
X Connect the other end of the ground-
ing cable to a grounding contact point.

4.2 Connecting the luminaire to
the mains voltage
NOTICE

mains voltage.
Damage or destruction of the luminaire.
X Compare the mains voltage with the
nominal voltage and the frequency
specified on the rating plate and
make sure that they are identical.
X Connect the connecting cable to the
power supply unit.
X Plug the mains plug into a socket.
