Check that the drum has come to a standstill, before
reaching into it!
Malfunction messages H
In the case of the malfunction messages listed below,
the programme can be restarted by operating the Start
button once the malfunction has been rectified.
H-00
Child safety guard
u Hold down the Quick wash button and operate the
Start button.
H-01
Water shortage
u Open the water tap and restart the appliance.
u Screen in water inlet blocked,
see «Cleaning the screens in the water inlet»
u Interruption to the water supply.
H-02
Water backed up
u Check that the drain hose is not kinked or the buil-
ding drain blocked.
u Place a container under tha drain filter, unscrew the
lid to the drain filter (turn anticlockwise) and slowly with-
draw the drain filter.
Allow the water to run into the container, clean the filter
and replace it (turn clockwise).
H-03
Loading door open
u Press the door until the lock snaps into place pro-
perly.
H-04
Imbalance detection
u Laundry not spun dry.
u Avoid loading the drum wih individual heavy pieces of
laundry.
u Loosen up the laundry: Repeat the spin with a sepa-
rate spin programme.
H-05
Mains shutdown
u Machine stopped by mains shutdown.
u The machine will continue to run automatically once
the mains have been restored.
Malfunction messages Er (Wash Card)
The following malfunction messages are associated with
the Wash Card.
If the appliance shows a function fault F – –:
u Stop the programme with the Quick Wash button and
select a new programme.
In the event of repeated error messages:
u Disconnect the electricity for approx. 1 minute and
then switch on again. (Withdraw the mains plug or
switch off the main building switch.)
u The appliance is ready to operate once again when
the programme pilot lamps flash.
u Select a new programme.
Iff the error message still appears:
u Make a note of the error message
u Switch off the water tap and withdraw the mains plug
or switch off the main building switch.
u Inform Customer Service.

Customer Service

Before you call Customer Service, check whether you
can rectify the fault yourself (see «Self-help for minor
malfunctions» page 61).
The cost of a service technician visit for the purpose of
profiding advice is chageable even during the warranty
period. Malfunctions caused as a result of improper
operation, clogged filters or foreign bodies are excluded
from the warranty.
If you are unable to rectify a fault yourself, withdraw the
mains plug or switch off the main switch, close the
water tap and call Customer Service.
Call the central Customer Service number (see the
back of the envelope). You will be connected automati-
cally with the responsible customer service depot in
your region.
Give the Customer Service the error message F-- as
well as the product and appliance numbers. You will find
this information on the type plate inside the frame of the
open loading door. Make a note of your appliance num-
bers here.

Extended warranty

On expiry, the normal warranty period of 1 year can be
extended indefinitely by subscription.We will be pleased
to send you the desired documentation on request.

ce booklet.
