Spin Speed
This function is used to select a lower spin speed or a
rinse stop for a more gentle treatment of the laundry, for
example with delicate laundry (see next section).
Maximum spin speed will be used unless spin reduction
is selected.
This is always dependent on the programme selected.
A single press on this button causes the pre-selected
spin speed to be shown in the digital display.
Repeatedly pressing the button causes the spin speed
to be reduced. The slowest possible spin speed is 400
rpm.
The spin speed can also be changed while a program-
me is operating but not during the spin cycle however.
Money-saving tip
If the laundry is to be dried in a tuble dryer, select a high
spin speed since well-drained laundry needs much less
energy and time for machine drying.
Rinse Stop
The «Rinse Stop» function is used to prevent creasing
of delicate laundry. In this case, the laundry is held in
the final rinse water. (See page 57).
Select «Rinse Stop» by reducing the spin speed until
STOP is displayed.
You can also end the programme by Drain without spin
or with spin. (See page 57).
Quick Wash button
The programme can be shortened or cancelled by ope-
rating the Quick Wash button.
u (See Changing/cancelling a programme, page 57).
This button can also be used to select sprecial program-
mes.
u (See Programme Table, page 55).

Manual draining is necessary if:
The pump is blocked by foreign bodies (such as but-
tons, paper clips, fluff) and the water is not pumped out.
(Malfunction message H-02)
Up to 48 litres may run out if the pump is blocked. Have
a bucket handy.
Danger of scalding! Allow hot washing water to cool
down.
Emptying procedure
(not applicable with the drainage valve option)
Loosen drainage filter by ¾ turn and allow the water to
drain into the container.
Cleaning the drum
Remove rust marks caused by metal parts laying in the
drum using a chlorine-free cleaning agent (check the
ingredients on the packaging).
Never use steel wool!
Water inlet hoses
To avoid water damage, we recommend having the
condition of the water hoses checked by an expert after
arround 5 years.
Frost protection
If the appliance is installed in a room where the tempe-
rature may fall below 0°C, the machine and water inlet
hoses must be emptied immediately after every use.
