After 10000 operating hours or after 2 years, bearings should be
dismantled, cleaned and filled again with grease. For unfavorable
operating conditions (severely damp, dusty atmosphere or hot service)
greasing intervals may be shortened.
9.3 DISMANTLING AND RE‐ASSEMBLY
9.3.1
DISMANTLING
Make sure that electric power is disconnected and could not be
switched on again by fault during maintenance operations.
• Drain the piping at least between the isolating valve on the suction and
discharge side.
• If necessary disconnect any measuring sensors and gauges.
• Remove drain plug and drain the pump casing.
• Pump casing may be left fastened to piping.
• Remove motor fastening screws and move the motor rearward so that
there is sufficient space to remove the back pull‐out assembly.
When using a coupling with spacer part, it is not necessary to
move the motor rearward.
• Dismantle coupling guard, half coupling on pump side.
1. Mark the position of the parts in relation to each other with a color
pen or a scribing point.
2. Loosen the nuts 92.00 and remove the washers 55.00.
3. Put the casing 10.20 apart and remove the casing seal 40.00.

4. Loosen impeller nut 92.20 and remove the lock washer 93.10.
5. Remove the washer 93.10, the impeller 23.00 and the key 94.01.
6. Slide out with care the casing cover 16.10 with coupling rings 52.51
and sleeve 52.90. Remove the gaskets 40.01 and 40.02.
Never use a hammer to extract casing cover (carbide bearing
inside). If damaged extract the bushing 54.00 with an extractor.
7. Remove the nut 92.02, washer 55.02 and dismantle the intermediate
flange 15.20. Remove the flat gasket 40.01.
8. Remove mechanical seal only if damaged. To remove mechanical seal,
remove screws 91.40 and pull out the mechanical seal housing 44.10.
9. Mark position of the mechanical seal on the shaft. Remove rotating
part of the mechanical seal 43.30 from the shaft. Remove screws 90.10
and pull out the bearing housing 36.00. Slide out the shaft 21.00 with
ball bearing 32.10 from bearing bracket housing 33.00.
10. Remove rotating part of the mechanical seal 43.30 from the shaft
sleeve 52.30.
11. Remove screws 90.10 and pull out the bearing housing 36.00. Slide
out the shaft 21.00 with ball bearing 32.10 from bearing bracket housing
33.00.
12. Loosen the ball bearing tightening nut 92.21, remove the washer
93.11 and the ball bearing 32.10 with its spacer ring 52.50.
