The Phone Book

Using your telephone, you can store 100 telephone numbers with associated names in the phone
book.
When the memory capacity of 100 numbers has been used, the display will show the message
MEMORY IS FULL the next time an attempt is made to store a number. In this case, other
telephone numbers must be deleted first.
Note: Before using the phone book, the CLIP caller list function must be switched off. You can be
switched between the phone book and the caller list with the CLIP button. Therefore make sure
that the display message CLIP is not on.

Storing telephone numbers in the phone book

1. Press the store button
2. Press the store button
3. Enter the required telephone number with a maximum of 22 digits using the number pad.
4. Press the store button
5. Enter the required name with a maximum of 16 letters. The next section will tell you how to
enter names.

How to enter names
The number buttons are also inscribed with letters for entering the name. By repeatedly pressing
the appropriate button, upper case letters as well as numbers and special characters can be
entered.
Example: You wish to enter the name "Peter".
Press: 1 x button 7, 2 x button 3, 1 x button 8, 2 x button 3, 3 x button 7.
To enter a space, press the 1 button once.
To enter the same letter twice, press the appropriate button and turn the jog dial once to the right.
The cursor will automatically jump one place further and you can enter the same letter again.
Incorrect entries can be deleted with the
position using the jog dial and then press the
