Operation
Attention!
Loose screws can cause damage to parts or result in malfunctions.
→ Tighten all screws by hand and check that they are screwed tight.
9.1. First use
The automatic gun is supplied fully assembled and ready for operation.
After unpacking, check:
■ Automatic gun damaged.
■ Scope of supply complete (see chapter 5).
Attention!
Using soiled compressed air can cause malfunctions.
→ Use clean compressed air. For example with SATA filter 544.
■ Check that all screws are screwed tight.
■ Screw the fluid tip tight.
■ Rinse material passages with a suitable cleaning solution (see chapter 11).
■ Align air cap and tighten firmly.
■ Connect the control air (min. 3 bar).
■ Connect the spraying air.
■ Connect the material supply.
Note!
Test air caps are available from SATA to help adjust the spraying pa-
rameters (see chapter 13).
9.2. Normal operation
The automatic gun has an internal control. The control air triggers the
control pulse and opens the spraying air valve of the automatic gun, thus
ensuring that pressurised spraying air is always present at the automatic
gun.
