Note!

To use the automatic gun again without material circulation, screw the
dummy plug in as far as it will go. Secure with Loctite 242. Check for
any damage and soiling and replace corresponding components as
required.

Operation

Attention!
Loose screws can cause damage to parts or result in malfunctions.
→ Tighten all screws by hand and check that they are screwed tight.
Heed/check the following points before use to
warrant safe working with the automatic gun:
■ All screws are fitted firmly, tighten screws if necessary.
■ The fluid tip is screwed tight.
■ Technically clean compressed air is being used.
8.1. First use
Attention!
Damage from dirty compressed air
Using soiled or oily compressed air can cause malfunctions
.
→ Use clean compressed air. For example by fitting the filter combina-
tion SATA filter 544 upstream.
The automatic gun is supplied fully assembled and ready for operation.
■ Check that all screws are screwed tight.
■ Mount the nozzle set (use the universal spanner [3-5] for the fluid tip).
■ Connect the control air to the control air connection [1-9], [2-8] (min. 3
bar).
■ Connect the spraying air to the spraying air connection [1-8], [2-10].
