H. Cleaning and storage

The appliance may be left on the kitchen work
surface. Unplug the appliance when it is not in use.
•
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
Clean the jar before using it for the fi rst time and
after every use to prevent food from drying on it. Do
not store food or liquids in the jar.
•
To clean, remove the jar from the motor housing. If
necessary, rinse the inside to remove excess food.
Then separate the jar from the locking collar (see
section 2C).
•
All the appliance parts, except the motor housing,
are dishwasher safe.
•
When cleaning the blade by hand, handle it very
carefully. To avoid risk of injury, do not leave the
blade in soapy water where it may disappear from
sight.
•
To clean the motor housing, use a damp sponge
with a little soft detergent. Do not use an abrasive
sponge.
CAUTION: Never immerse the motor housing in water
or any other liquid and never place in the washing
machine.
