c) Switching Camera Channel, Auto Mode
• Select the camera channel to be displayed, „CH1" or „CH2", by briefly pushing the
button „CH1" or „CH2" of the IR remote control.
The upper left of the screen shows the respective active channel number each.
If a recording is currently underway, the camera channel cannot be swit-
ched.
• If both channels are to be automatically displayed alternatingly, the auto mode can be
used for this.
Switch on auto mode:
Briefly push the button „AUTO" on the IR remote control. To the right of the channel
umber, „AUTO" appears. The display now alternatingly shows the two camera channels
(basic setting 5 seconds, can be changed in the OSD menu).
Switch on auto mode:
Either push the button „AUTO" again on the IR remote control or alternatively push
the button „CH1" or „CH2". The display „AUTO" disappears again.
If a recording is currently underway, auto mode cannot be activated.
d) Starting/Terminating Recording
Starting/terminating recording manually
This is only possible if the setting „One Key" was chosen in the function „Recording
Mode" (see chapter 11 d).
Depending on settings in the function „Recording Type" (also see chapter 11 d), the digital
recorder can either record pictures or videos. The upper left of the display shows a small
video camera or photo camera icon, depending on the setting made.
Push the button „REC/STOP" on the digital recorder or the IR remote control to start or
terminated video recording or save a photograph.
If a video recoding is running, the upper left of the connected screen shows a
red dot and „REC".
During recording, some operating functions are not possible. For example, the
OSD menu cannot be called.
