14.4 Installing fluorescence filter
Only IM-3LD4 / IM-3LD4D

This procedure can be needed when installing new
fluorescence cubes or when replacing an existing
cube with a different one.
1. Disconnect the power supply plug from the microscope.
2. Unscrew the filter selector lever.
3. Open the side cover of the illuminator, by unscrewing
the side screws ①. (Fig. 69)
•
The cubes are mounted on the opposite side of the cov-
er: opening the left cover acts on the right side of the
slider and vice versa.
4. Remove the filter slider from the microscope and put it
on a table.
5. Using the screws provided with the fluorescence cube,
fix the new cube on the slider. (Fig. 70)
