20. Maintenance and cleaning
Clean the exterior of the model and the remote control with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Never use abrasive cleaning
agents or chemical solutions, as these may damage the surface of the housing.
Regularly check all screw connections of your helicopter for tight fit. All turning parts have to be easily movable but
there should not be a clearance in the bearing.
Important:
When replacing parts, only use the original spare parts offered by the manufacturer. The spare parts list
can be found on our website (see chapter 1) in the download section for the respective product.
a) Replacing the rotor blades
The rotor blades may be damaged if they hit an object when they are rotating. If this occurs, the defective rotor blades
must be replaced with original spare parts.
Warning!
Do not fly the model helicopter if the rotor blades are damaged, as this may result in vibrations that cause
further damage to the model. Do not overtighten the screws on the rotor blade holders (see also Figure 5).
b) Replacing the tail propeller
You can use a screwdriver to easily lever the tail propeller
(1) off the motor shaft (2), if necessary.
When attaching the replacement propeller, ensure that it is
horizontal, otherwise it may bend the motor shaft.
