5 Installation

Before mounting HYDAC Angle Sensor, make sure there are no strong magnetic and
electric interference fields nearby.
Inadmissible interference fields can influence the measuring accuracy.
The measured values are transferred contactless to the sensor rod via the angle
sensor's magnetic field (the magnet situated at the opposite end of the drive shaft).
The angle sensor is mounted using a fixing ring or directly by means of screws at the
front side of the mounting flange.
