4 Installation

Before mounting HYDAC Level Sensor, make sure there are no strong magnetic and
electric interference fields nearby.
Inadmissible interference fields can influence the measuring accuracy. For that reason,
the maximum permitted interference field strength nearby the measuring probe must not
be exceeded.
The mounting of the level sensor is carried out completely (including float) via a G ¾"
stud coupling.
The male pipe thread of the level sensor has a G¾" A thread and corresponds with the
DIN 3825 Part 11 Form E.
The connection between the tank housing and the level sensor is sealed by a pre-
mounted soft seal at the HNT.
The minimum distance recommended between the float and other mounted components
inside the tank walls is 20 mm.
