Prescribed Use of the LCR – Measuring
Instrument 4080:
Measuring unipolar or bipolar capacitor (C) of approx. 5 pF up to 10000 µF= 10 mF
Measuring resistors (R) up to max. 10 MOhm
Measuring inductors (L) up to 10000 H
It is not admissible to carry out measurements in wet rooms or outdoors or
under adverse environmental conditions. Adverse environmental conditions
are:
- dampness or high humidity
- dust or inflammable gases, vapors or solvents
- thunderstorms and stormy conditions like strong electrostatic fields
Any other use than the one described above damages the measuring instru-
ment. Moreover, this involves dangers, such as short-circuit, fire, electric
shock, etc. No part of the product may be modified or rebuilt!
Observe the safety instructions and technical data.
