- For your own safety you should absolutely avoid that the measuring instru-
ment or the leads get humid or wet.
- Only use the enclosed measuring leads for measuring. Only these are
admissible.
- To avoid an electric shock, please make sure not to touch (not even indi-
rectly) the measuring pivots and the measuring connections (measuring
points) during the measurement.
- If there is cause to believe that a safe operation has become impossible,
put the instrument out of operation and secure it against any unintended
operation. Safe operation must be presumed to be no longer possible, if
- the instrument exhibits visible damage
- the instrument does not operate any longer
- the instrument was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long peri-
od of time.or
- the instrument was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport
- Never turn on the instrument immediately after it has been brought from a
cold into a warm room. Condensation water that forms might destroy your
instrument or lead to false measurements. Leave the device switched off
and wait until it has reached room temperature.
Presentation
With this L C R measuring instrument, you are able to carry out extensive
measurements on voltage-free components such as resistors in the range of
0 to 10 MOhm, capacitors in the range of a few pF up to 10000 µF and induc-
tors in the range of a few mH up to 10000 H. The multi-function display with a
large and a smaller display, each with 4
The internally generated measuring frequency for measuring capacitors and
inductors is approximately 120 Hz / 1 kHz (reversible). With a serial infrared
interface (bi-directional) you can communicate with your PC after having con-
nected the interface lead and having installed the software.
The measuring instrument is universally applicable in school, hobby and pro-
fessional workshops etc.
