Worn or damaged knife.
The counter--blade is incorrectly
adjusted.
Build--up of crop or foreign bo-
dies between knife and coun-
ter--blade.
Non--cylindrical bales.
Insufficient net tension.
Too dry crop.
REMEDY
Thread the net again, correctly.
Change the position of the net
roll retaining springs.
Clean possible crop residues on
the net path.
Let some crop enter the baler
even when the "shaped bale"
sound signal is heard.
Check the supply circuit and
ground connection of the motor.
Sharpen or replace the knife.
Adjust the counter--blade cor-
rectly.
Remove the crop; remove the
foreign bodies.
Improve the swath shape and
move suitably on the swath.
Adapt the position of net roll re-
taining springs.
Do not harvest in the hottest
hours of the day.
