Sub coil AC voltage inspection
9 Connect the White leads of the sub coil 1.
9 Start the engine, then measure the voltage. (Tester
range: AC120V)

Sub coil AC voltage:
14.5–21.7 V at 20 °C (68 °F)
GOOD
Replace the control unit.
TOO LOW
DOES NOT GENERATE
GENERATOR SYSTEM
Magnetic force is weak.
Replace the magneto rotor.
Sub coil resistance inspection
9 Stop the engine.
9 Measure the resistance between the-White
Orange leads. (Tester range: Ω × 1)

0.12 Ω ± 20 % at 20 °C (68 °F)
SPECIFICATION
Replace the stator assembly.
