Please don't misunderstand the purpose of these notes. We only want to make
you aware of the many dangers and hazards which can arise if you work
carelessly or irresponsibly. If you take reasonable care, model flying is a highly
creative, instructive, enjoyable and relaxing pastime.
Liability exclusion
As manufacturers, we at Graupner are unable to ensure that you observe the
assembly and operating instructions provided for this model, and are not in a
position to influence the way you install, operate and maintain the radio control
system components. For this reason we are obliged to deny all liability for loss,
damage or costs which are incurred due to the incompetent or incorrect use
and operation of our products, or which are connected with such operation in
any way.
Unless otherwise prescribed by binding law, the obligation of the Graupner
company to pay compensation, regardless of the legal argument employed, is
limited to the invoice value of that quantity of Graupner products which was
immediately and directly involved in the event which caused the damage. This
does not apply if Graupner is found to be subject to unlimited liability
according to binding legal regulation on account of deliberate or gross
negligence.
Introduction
The Terry S is a mini hot-line model with a performance to delight any model flyer.
The aeroplane is very highly pre-fabricated, but nevertheless the procedures
described in these instructions must be carried out with the greatest care, as this is
the only way to ensure that the model flies successfully and safely.
The aircraft's all-up weight must not exceed 500 g.
RC accessories
This model should only be flown with an FM radio control system such as the X-306
to mc-24. For more information about RC systems and components please refer to
the main FS catalogue.
