Adjustment is carried out in 3 load
states.
State 1:
1. Place the vehicle without load
on a level surface.
2. Switch the low beam on for the
duration of the adjustment

process.
3. Join up the plug-type
connections on the adjustment
cable assembly within 30 seconds
of switching the low beam on.
After 5 seconds, the headlight
range adjustment actuators can
be heard to moving into the initial
position.
4. Then open the plug-type
connection again.
5. Set the correct cut-off with the
aid of the adjustment screws on
the headlight (garage or
workshop).
State 2:
6. Load of 2 x 75 kg or 2 people
in the boot
7. Join up the plug-type
connection on the adjustment
cable assembly for about 1-3
seconds and then disconnect
again.
8. The headlights move
downwards step by step and
gradually approach the correct
cut-off again. When this level is
reached, join up the plug-type
connection again immediately.
The setting is stored after about
5 seconds, which is indicated by
the headlight range adjustment
actuator moving backwards and
forwards once. Then open the
plug-type connection again. If the
correct cut-off has been exceeded
by mistake, the step-by-step
movement of the actuators can
be reversed by closing and
opening the plug-type connection
again briefly (1-3 seconds).
