Insert/Remove mulching kit

Prior to using the mulching kit make
sure that
- the side ejection channel (
has been removed. (see "Insert/
Remove side ejection channel"),
- the grass catcher (
been removed (see "Inser/Re-
move grass catcher").
Insert mulching kit:
1. Lift the collision guard (5).
2. Insert the red locking button (22)
downwards and insert the mulch-
ing kit (21). The red locking but-
ton clicks into place.
Remove mulching kit:

Insert/Remove side ejection
channel
Prior to using the side ejection
channel make sure that
- the mulching kit (
removed (see "Insert/Remove
mulching kit"),
- the grass catcher (
been removed (see "Insert/Re-
move grass catcher").
Insert side ejection channel
1. Lift the lateral impact protection
(11).
2. Mount the side ejection channel
(23) and remove the lateral im-
pact protection (11). It holds the
side ejection channel in position.

Adjusting the Cut Height

The equipment has 7 positions for
adjusting the cut height: 30 - 75 mm
The correct height is around 30 – 45 mm
for a decorative lawn and around
30 –65 mm for a used lawn.

Switching On and Off

nect the plug and wait for the blade
to stop. There is a risk of injury.
Hold the cutting height adjuster

A higher cut height should be se-
lected for the first cut of the season.
1. Connect the mains cable (17)
with the extension cable.
2. Turn the end of the extension
cable into a loop and hook it into
the cable strain relief (20).
3. Connect the equipment to the
power supply.
4. Before switching on, ensure that
the equipment is not in contact
with any objects.
5. To switch on, press
the release button
(19) on the handle
