1. Notes on the operating instructions
Please read through these operating
GB
instructions carefully and comply with
them as well as with the enclosed
safety instructions. You should use
these operating instructions to fami-
liarise yourself with the mower, the
operating elements, proper usage and
the safety instructions.

2. Correct operation

The lawnmower is designed for moving
and aerating (only 32 EH) lawns and
grassy areas in private gardens and
allotments and not for industrial usage
in public complexes, parks, sports faci-
lities, on roads or in horticultural and
agricultural businesses.

3.1 Parts check
The packing box contains the following
parts:
Lawnmower
Cuttings box
1 upper part of handlebar frame
(handle with switch)
2 lower parts of handlebar frame
Fasteners for handlebar frame
Operating instructions with
guarantee card
List of after-sales service centres
4. Start-up
4.1 Setting cutting height

The cutting height is infinitely variable
and can be set centrally using a rotary
knob. The cutting height selected can
be read off the digital display in 5 mm
sections.

! Attention! Always switch
off the motor before setting the
cutting height. Do not set the cut-
ting height so low that the cutter
blades touch the ground if the
ground is uneven.

! Never permit children
or other persons who are not
familiar with the operating
instructions to use the lawnmower.
Local authority regulations may
stipulate a minimum age for
instructions supplied by the manufactu-
rer. These instructions also include
instructions on operation, maintenance
and servicing.

3.2 Assembling handlebar frame

Slide the two lower parts of the handle
rod into the receptacles on both so
that the smooth side faces outwards.
Then screw the handle rod in place
using the knurled screws provided
(Fig. 1, item 1). Insert the handle with
the switch into the recesses provided
from outside and fix to the lower
part of the handle rod with the
knurled screws and nuts provided
(Fig. 1, item 2).
4.2 Connection of aerator roller
(only 32 EH)

Always switch off the motor before
connecting the aerator roller.
The aerator roller should only be
connected with cutting heights between
25 – 55 mm.
The working height of the aerator
roller is set via the cutting height
adjustment (Fig. 2). The care table on
page 18 lists various care options.
The aerator roller is connected when
the user. Keep these operating
instructions in a safe place.

off when you have finished work or
when transporting the Hattrick.
